WECK's® canning jars are made of thick glass to resist boiling and sterilization. The lids are made of glass and cannot rust. Their advantage: they can be used and reused, over and over again! Weck® gaskets are made of natural rubber. When your can is made and properly sterilized, the tongue of the seal leans downwards. This is the natural visual indicator that your WECK® can has been properly sterilized. All pots in the WECK® range are guaranteed BPA-free, lead-free, phthalate-free and PVC-free.
